Our building materials were delivered to the island by barge. Everyone who was able helped to unload by carrying the materials down this steep ramp, loaded them on the trailer, then unloaded the trailer after it was hauled to the building site. It took at least two days to unload everything for this large building from the barge. We could only unload during periods of low tide because the end of the ramp was underwater during high tides.
